Abstract
A new objective evalution method with which the waviness appearance of a fabric surface caused by wrinkling and seam puckering can be measured objectively and quantitatively has been developed. the absolute coordinates of the fabric surface contour anr used to evaluate the favric appearance using the fractal geometry that can explicitly explain the degree of fabric surface waviness as a decimal fraction with precise grading.
