Examining the roles and relationships of stakeholders in football-based youth development program

Abstract

This research explores the roles and relationships of stakeholders involved in football-based youth development programs specifically within the context of public-school settings in Kazakhstan. Research aims to deepen our understanding of the dynamics among various stakeholders, including children, physical education teachers, parents, sport administrators within these programs. By examining their roles, interactions, and collaborations, this research explores how stakeholder involvement influences the outcomes and effectiveness of football-based youth development initiatives in public schools. Also, one of the objectives of this research is to explore what kind of difficulties and challenges youth facing during football youth development programs in school settings. This qualitative research used case study approach, for data collection in-depth interviews were conducted with the sport administrators, physical education teachers, children and their guardians. The interviews explored their roles and relationships, experiences, insights, difficulties and challenges during the football-based youth development programs in school settings. Thematic analysis was applied to the interview transcripts, allowing for the identification of key themes and patterns. The findings revealed several main themes, which are exploring football-based youth development programs in school settings in Kazakhstan. Firstly, it explores the methods of delivery of football-based youth development programs as a central theme. Football-based youth development programs in school settings have three main methods of delivery, which are school curriculum and extracurricular, development of sport in schools and unique government program. Through an extensive literature review and qualitative method research approach, this research provides a comprehensive analysis of stakeholder engagement within public school football-based youth development programs. It explores the roles and relationships of stakeholders, considering their unique perspectives and experiences within the educational setting. Furthermore, this research addresses the importance of parental involvement and engagement as stakeholders in public school football-based youth development programs. This research also examines the challenges and difficulties faced by the stakeholders of the football-based youth development programs. Moreover, the thesis analyzes the role of sport administrators and physical education teachers in supporting and shaping the structure and functioning of these programs. It investigates the influence of policies, resources in fostering the growth and sustainability of football-based youth development initiatives within public school settings. The study also explores the potential for collaboration between stakeholders to maximize the positive impact of these programs on childrens academic, social, and personal development. Ultimately, this research aims to generate valuable insights and recommendations for educators, sport administrators, parents involved in football-based youth development programs within school settings. By understanding the complex interplay among stakeholders and their diverse contributions, this research seeks to enhance the design, implementation, and outcomes of these programs, thereby promoting the overall well-being and success of young children.

이 연구는 카자흐스탄의 공립학교 환경 내에서 구체적으로 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램에 참여하는 이해관계자들의 역할과 관계를 탐구합니다. 연구는 아동, 체육 교사, 부모, 이 프로그램 내에서의 스포츠 관리자와 같은 다양한 이해관계자들 사이의 역학을 깊이 있게 이해하기 위해 진행되었습니다. 이들의 역할, 상호작용 및 협업을 조사함으로써, 이 연구는 이해관계자들의 참여가 공립학교에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 계획의 결과와 효과에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 탐구합니다. 또한 이 연구의 목표 중 하나는 학교 환경에서의 축구 청소년 발전 프로그램 도중 청소년들이 직면하는 어려움과 과제를 탐구하는 것입니다. 이 질적 연구는 사례 연구 방법론을 활용하였으며, 데이터 수집을 위해 스포츠 관리자, 체육 교사, 아동 및 보호자들과의 심층 인터뷰가 진행되었습니다. 인터뷰에서는 학교 환경에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램 동안의 역할과 관계, 경험, 통찰, 어려움 및 과제에 대해 조사되었습니다. 인터뷰 내용에 대한 테마 분석이 진행되었으며, 주요 주제와 패턴을 식별할 수 있었습니다. 연구 결과는 카자흐스탄의 학교 환경에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램을 탐구하는 몇 가지 주요 주제를 밝혀냈습니다. 첫째로, 이는 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램의 전달 방법을 탐구하는 중심 주제입니다. 학교 환경에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램은 학교 교육과외 프로그램, 학교 내 스포츠 발전, 정부의 독특한 프로그램 등 세 가지 주요 전달 방법을 가지고 있습니다. 폭넓은 문헌 검토와 질적 연구 방법론을 통해, 이 연구는 공립학교에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램 내 이해관계자 참여를 포괄적으로 분석합니다. 교육적 환경 내에서 그들의 독특한 관점과 경험을 고려하여 이해관계자들의 역할과 관계를 탐구합니다. 뿐만 아니라, 이 연구는 공립학교에서의 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램의 이해관계자로서의 부모 참여와 관련성의 중요성을 다루고 있습니다. 이 연구는 또한 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램의 이해관계자들이 직면하는 과제와 어려움을 조사합니다. 더욱이, 이 논문은 스포츠 관리자와 체육 교사의 역할을 분석하며 이 프로그램의 구조와 기능을 지원하고 형성하는 데 있어서의 역할을 살펴봅니다. 정책과 자원이 공립학교 환경 내 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램의 성장과 지속 가능성을 유지하는 데 어떤 영향을 미치는지 조사합니다. 이 연구는 또한 이들 프로그램이 아동의 학문적, 사회적 및 개인적 발전에 긍정적인 영향을 극대화하기 위해 이해관계자 간의 협력 가능성을 탐구합니다. 최종적으로, 이 연구는 학교 환경 내 축구 중심 청소년 발전 프로그램에 참여하는 교육자, 스포츠 관리자, 부모들을 위한 소중한 통찰과 권고를 도출하기 위해 목표를 가지고 있습니다. 이해관계자들 간의 복잡한 상호작용과 다양한 기여를 이해함으로써, 이 연구는 이들 프로그램의 디자인, 실행 및 결과를 향상시키며 어린 아동들의 전반적인 복지와 성공을 촉진하고자 합니다.
