상업가로에서 흡연이 일어나는 공간의 특성 연구 - 공간구문론과 ERAM모델을 활용하여 홍대거리 분석 -

Abstract

In Commercial streets, people are suffering from second-hand smoke. A preliminary study found 41 smoking areas by counting cigarette butts. It is meaningful in that we actually found a smoking area, but there is a limit to find smoking areas by counting cigarette butts on every streets and also it is not an objective data. Therefore, this study is intended to find out the smoking areas by spatial analysis. For objective spatial analysis this study used Space Syntax and ERAM model. This study observed people avoid smoking in the streets with a large floating population. People smoke in small quiet alleys. This study focused on the relationships with the surrounding roads. Setting up a hypothesis, comparing a data from Space Syntax and ERAM model this study looked at how the 41 points fit with the hypothesis. This study proved the connection between smoking space and the hypothesis. Therefore, when identifying smoking areas, the Space Syntax and ERAM model can be used to find smoking space so we can prevent the damage from second-hand smoke and environmental problems could be solved.
