Abstract
This paper serves two purposes. First, we discussed how to train Korean teachers in the new normal era, and second, we discussed how teachers who teach Korean grammar will respond to changes in the new normal era. In Chapter 2, we reconceptualized the definition of the new normal. To this end, the original concept of the new normal was additionally considered with the experience of Covid-19 and Korean particularities. In Chapter 3, we discussed the core competencies that learners need in the new normal and the teachers professionalism should have for these learners. Then, we discussed how to train teachers with professionalism suitable for the new normal era, but also discussed the direction of training pre-service teachers and the direction of retraining experienced teachers. In Chapter 4, based on the discussion so far, we present the environment surrounding the teaching-learning of Korean grammar and the grammatical competence that learners should have in the new normal era. And the Korean grammar teacher discussed detail how to respond in class and out-of-class situations.
