- Abstract
- 필자는 본 논문에서 셰익스피어의 작품에 표현된 동사 생략어법의 하나인 空洞化 (Gapping) 현상과 이와 관련된 몇가지 어법을 현대영어의 어법과 비교 · 검토하여, 고찰하고자 한다. 인용한 台詞의 語形표시나 행수는 Harbage, A. (Gen. Ed.) The Complete Pelican Shakespeare(l969)판에 의거했으며 필요시에는 다른 판도 아울러 비교 · 검토하였음을 미리 밝혀둔다.
