The strength and weakness of kirrerent research designs do not exist in vacuum as if there are absolute merits and demerits in any design. They are interwound with available methods and inferential process of a given period. The discussion of strength and weakness is also affected by different epistemology of scientists. It is assumed that such differences of epistemology and inferential process center around atomism, holism, causal inference and related mathematical logics.-
