- 초조하게 바을 지샌 Hyundai Precision America(이하 HYPA)영업부의 김동훈 대리(현재 과장)는 새벽 정적을 깨고 울리는 전화벨소리에 황급히 수화기를 들었다. 입찰에 참여한 147개사 중 최종경합을 벌인 HYPA에게 미국정부는 CROP 14.980대를 전량 수주한다는 전갈이었다. 이 소식은 곧바로 고옥석 이사를 통해 당시 CEO였던 정태영 전무에게 전달되었다. 97년 7월 31일, 날이 밝아오는 새벽녘의 일이다...
