Abstract
This study aims to clarify the changing patterns of the 'consonant-h' sequences in Korean(Central dialect) and to compare these patterns with those of two dialects(North-western dialect and South-western dialect).

The main points of this study can be summarized as follows In one morpheme, the changing patterns at three dialects are the same 'h' was deleted in the 'sonorant-h' sequences and obstruent-h' sequences changed into aspirates In a morpheme boundary, the changing patterns at three dialects are different Yet difference in the obstruent-h' sequences is larger than in the 'sonorant-h' sequences • Phonologically the sonorant-h sequences are maintained at Central & North-western dialect, but 'h' was delected at South-western dialect And obstruent-h' sequences, only at Central dialect, changed into aspirates In this respect, Central dialect is distinguished considerably from the rest of dialects From the dialectological points of view, 'consonant-h' sequences at three dialects can be said to change not by means of diffusion but separately.
