| dc.description.abstract | Importance of an arboretum for the purpose of teaching student in the field of botany and farestry has been recognized since 1907 in Korea. However, the establishment of an arboretum had been delayed until Seoul National University decided to establish it at a valley of Mt. Kwanak according to the Regulation no.94 of the Seoul National University on the 21st October 1967.
