Abstract
Plasma cell cheilitis (PCC) is a rare, idiopathic, benign,
inflammatory disorder characterized by a dense
accumulation of plasma cells in the upper dermis.
The authors describe two cases of PCC recalcitrant
to topical steroids that resolved after topical tacrolimus
ointment administration, and one case of
PCC with steroid-induced labial atrophy that
also responded well to topical pimecrolimus and
tacrolimus.
