Leaping into Service Application; Jihachul

Abstract

After the launching of iPhone in 2007, the world is encountering the next big change after post-, priorinternet. Now we are facing new digital-revolution where one is easily outdated without the iPhone or Android-phones. Just few years ago, it could be said that the Microsoft has dominated the IT related technology basis, and that MS ruled the world. Few years earlier; Netscape Communication, with its Netscape browser, became a threat for Bill Gates. MS, where they have been underestimating the power of Internet, monopolized Internet browser with its Internet Explorer in the Windows. The strategy worked, and won its fight with the Netscape, and soon it became the champion of the Internet. But soon the Google emerged with searchengine as its strong weapon, and the once champion MS was again in troubles trying to win the Google. Meanwhile, design appreciable but an incomparably small company-the Apple- jumped into the mobile device business. Even when the Apple just launched the iPhone, nobody guessed that this event would change the landscape of world industry. In 2011, the power of world wide Internet is focused on the mobile devices, and at the core of it is the Apple and the Google. In 2011, the Apple raised as the company with highest aggregates value of listed stocks. 2007년 Apple의 iPhone 발표 후 세상은 인터넷이 생기기 전과 후 이후 최대의 격변기를 맞이하고 있다. 이제는 iPhone이나 Google의 Android기반의 스마트폰 없이는 세상에 뒤쳐진 사람이 되어 버리는, 새로운 디지털 산업혁명을 맞이하고 있다. 사실 IT관련한 기술기반은 Microso 에 의해서 이미 점령당한, MS가 세상을 지배했다고 해도 과 언이 아닌 그런 시대가 불과 몇년 전이었다. 조금 더 전으로 돌아가보자. Bill Gates의 간담을 서늘 하게 했던 Netscape Communication의 Netscape브라우저의 등장으로 그동안 인터넷의 힘을 간과했던 MS는 Internet Explorer를 Windows에 독점적으로 끼워넣어 제공함으로써 Netscape 이라는 다윗을 침몰시키고 인터넷에서도 최강자로 떠올라 한동안 승승장구하고 있었다. 더이상 거칠게 없었던 MS의 앞에 검색을 무기로 혜성과 같이 등장한 Google은 MS에게 큰 골치거리였고 이러저러 시행착오를 거치며 검색엔진으로 Google 따라잡기에 여념이 없었다. 그때 혁신성이나 디 자인면에서 뛰어나긴 했어도 이미 MS와 비교 자체가 불가능할 정도로 작은 회사였던 Apple이 모 바일사업에 뛰어들어 iPhone을 내놓았을 때 이 사건이 우리의 삶을, 전세계 산업의 지평선을 바꿔 놓을 거라고는 어느 누구도 상상하지 못했었다. 그리고 2011년 현재 세계 인터넷은 모바일로 그 힘이 집중되고 그 중심에는 Apple과 Google이 있 다. 2011년 Apple은 전세계에서 가장 시가총액이 높은 회사로 등극하였다.
