L2 학습자들을 위한 -mente형 부사 등위구조의 형태-통사적 분석

Abstract

스페인어에서는 -mente형 부사가 복수로 출현하는 등위구조에 나타나는 경우 마지막에 나타나는 부사만이 접미사 -mente를 외현적으로 실현하고 나머지는 모두 실현을 하지 않을 수 있다. 본 연구는 -mente형 부사가 복수로 출현하는 등위구조에서 관찰되는 이러한 접미사 -mente의 비음성적 실현은 L2 통합화 단계(L2 Integration Stage(cf. Jiang 2000)에서 이루어지는 일종의 형태론적 유형강제 삭제 규칙(Morphological Coercive Deletion Rule)의 적용

의 결과라고 제안하고자 한다. 이러한 부사 파생 접미사의 비음성적 실현 현상은 여러 로망스어들과 17-18세기 및 현대 영어 등 여러 언어에서 관찰이 가능한 현상(cf. Pounder 2006)으로 스페인어의 경우 alta y correctamente와 같은 구조는 형용사 alta 와 부사 correctamente의 등위구조로 분석이 이루어지는 것이 아니라 두 개의 부사 즉, altamente 와 correctamente로 이루어지는 부사 등위구조에 대해 유형강제삭제규칙(Morphological Coercive Deletion Rule)이

[altamente y correctamente]처럼 적용되는 것으로 분석하고자 한다.

It is well known that the Spanish adverbial suffix -mente can have

phonetically null realizations in all the used lexical adverbs ending in -mente in

the coordinate structure except the last. In this study we will defend an analysis

that this kind of the null realization is a consequence of Morphological Coercive

Deletion Rule in the L2 Integration Stage(cf. Jiang 2000). A cross-linguistic

evidence of the null realization of adverbial suffix in the coordination can be found

in Romance languages and early Modern and current English(cf. Pounder 2006).

We can observe that the coordination like alta y correctamente is not a

coordination of a adjective alta and a adverb correctamente. We argue that the

construction alta y correctamente should be analyzed as a coordination of two

adverbs altamente and correctamente, to which the Morphological Coercive

Deletion Rule is applied like [altamente y correctamente].
