국제개발행정분야 연구동향에 관한 메타분석: 정부경쟁력 관점에서

Abstract

접근해야 하는가에 대한 문제의식에서 시작되었다. 즉, 국제개발(행정)을 연구할 때, 주로 어떤 하위 주제(문제)를 중요하게 다뤄야 하는가에 대한 의문을 해소하는 것이 목적이다. 구체적으로 국제개발(행정)학의 대표적 학술지인 World Development 에 1997년부터 2012년까지 게재된 2,013개의 논문들에서 3,779개의 키워드를 대상으로 하였고, 분석방법으로는 네트워크 분석법을 활용하였다. 분석결과, 시기에 따라 부상하는 키워드(문제)와 하락하는 키워드(문제)가 극명하게 나타났고, 이들 키워드들 간의 중심성과 클러스터(cluster)의 측면에서 특성이 드러났다. 이 연구결과를 바탕으로 앞으로 각 개발도상국의 정부경쟁력을 향상시키기 위해 어떤 하부연구를 가지고 접근해야 하는가와 정부경쟁력 지표 구성에 대한 시사점을 도출하였다.

This study aims to explore the research trends in the field of development administration. To analyze the current state of studies on development administration, a text network analysis was conducted on the keywords appearing in the articles published in World Development, which is one of the most representative journals in the field. sampled total of 2,013 articles having 3,779 keywords published from 1997 to 2012 were used. There were significant fluctuations in network centralities of keyword analyzed categories of major keywords clustered from the original key words, which indicates the changes of research interests over the time periods studied. The results of this study can have implications for strategies in developmental issues in under-developed countries and composition of constructs in development indices and government competitiveness indicators.
