대만에서의 한국어 교재 개발의 문제점 및 해결 방안

Abstract

In Taiwan, the Korean language education as foreign language has been conducted almost for half a centry. Although Taiwan has broken off diplomatic relations with Korea since 19l)'s, financial, cultural, educational exchanges have been continued, Nowadays Taiwanese take a growing interest in Korean and Korean language.

At this point of time, firstly I studied the given situation of developing Korean language materials. Secondly I looked back on difficulties that we had in designing them, and presented reform treasures.

Firstly, I examined the history and present state of Korean language materials and existing Korean language materials. The Korean language materials which are used in Taiwan are not appropriate for KFL in Taiwan. Because the Korean language education as foreign language in Taiwan is mainly for a university education in which most students study Korean language not for basic speech functions but for academic purpose.

So secondly I made troubles in developing Korean language materials at university clear and proposed an alternative plan. They are as follows :

1) We should develop the Korean language materials which are suitable for the national peculiarities without delay.

2) It is necessary to develop methodology and to set up the object of study.

3) It is necessary to develop the materials variously by fields.

4) In developing the materials by fields, the degree of difficulty of their must be considered

5) Materials for study should be developed variously.

6) Korean culture should be included in the contents of Korean language materials.

7) Teachers should come into close relation each other. Also it is necessary for them to cooperate for developing the materials.
