Abstract

For reaching the goal of authentic appreciation for any fictional text, it is needed

for the reader to operate some kinds of cognitive ability for it. One of the abilities

for understanding the fictional text is the fictive imagination, that connecting the facts in or out of the text and fictive elements in novelistic text. In this paper, a

novelistic text shall be analysed For My Emperor" by Rhee Moon Yeol. The main

trait of this novel is that it is situated in the mode of altemative history.
