dc.description.abstractConsidering that culture is as important as language in language education, we can find literary education is very important part of foreign language education.

Because, a literary text intermediates between language and culture.

This research is to show how literary texts are used for foreign language

education, focusing on teaching materials of French language as a foreign

language. In France, literary texts have been considered to be effective in teaching

French language not only as a native language but also as a foreign language.
