- Abstract
- This study reviews the recent research about contemporary Korean grammar education and suggests the alternative instruction methods for the future. In this
regard, this study suggests that it is necessary to select the major grammar items
and rank them according to their significance. 1bis study also proposes the necessity of research into lexical grammar and discourse grammar. As an alternative instruction method, this study recommends the grammar education that is l)gradual, 2)explicit, 3)eclectic between instructors and learners oriented educations, 4)integrated with vocabulary education, and 5)utilizes independent grammatical types and error correction cases.
