- Abstract
- This study is about media education as a korean language education. With development of technology, it is necessary that a viewpoint on language and
culture as well as literacy and communication should convert. Also in actuality of
receiving media education into korean language education, the matter related to
reconsidering knowledge, literacy and communicative competence of the instructor
is raised as an important point of issue. Related to this, this paper tries to investigate this subject systematically and synthetically.
Media education as a korean language education is an education for understanding
meaning action and communicative principles of media. And the features of media
education can be examined according to a p)int of view about language and media, and extension of communication theory. Likewise, it leads the goal of media education as a korean language education to developing communicative and cultural competence. Thus this paper organizes receiving, producing(creating), translation between media, copyright and morals as contents for media education.
