한국어교육을 위한 문법 기반 언어 기능의 통합 교육과정 구조화 방법론 연구

Abstract

통합의 개념은 세 가지로 나뉜다. 첫째, 파닉스법과 같은 상향식 접근법(bottom-up approach)과 달리 담화, 문장, 단어에 이르기까지 하향식 접근법(top-down approach)을 하는 총체적 언어교육(whole language teaching)을 가리킨다. 둘째, 학문 목적 내용 중심 지도 (content-based instruction), 주제 중심 지도(theme-based teaching), 과제 기반 접근법(theme & task-based approach)에서 말하기, 듣기, 읽기, 쓰기 기능 교육을 통합하는 것이 해당된다. 셋째, 유창성(fluecy) 중심의 의미 초점화(focus on meaning)교육을 추구한 의사소통 중심교육이 문법 교육을 소홀히 한 것을 반성하여 정확성(accuracy)을 보강하고자 도입한 형식 초점화(focus on form) 문법 교육은 의미와 형식의 통합 관점으로 볼 수 있다.

There are three types of integration inn language teaching. First, it is whole language teaching of a top-down approach in the level of a discourse, a sentence, and a word. Second, it combines approaches of speaking, listening, reading, and writing in content-based instruction, theme-based teaching, and theme and task-based approach. Third, it is a grammar instruction of focusing on form for accuracy integrating form and meaning instead of focusing on meaning for fluency in Communicative Language Teaching.
