The purpose of the present work is to search for a new possibility of Marxist praxis by the critical examination of totalistic view such as historically incarnated in the Soviet regime, especially its Stalinist character and "logocracy"(λoɤoʢ + кҭpɑҭɭɑ). Marxism is par excellence the thought for human liberation, despite of the historical deviation of its project by totalitarian regimes. I think this deviation is due to the concept of totality and power conceived by the traditional Marxism. 1t confused the wholeness of socio-historical reality, which is "process of totalization being detotalized", and the fictitious totality expressed by the ideology-language. The latter is nothing but a distorted representation of the former and, moreover, its epistemological foundation is outside of the immanence of human being. From this is brought forth the totalitarian power which tries to grasp the wholeness of socio-historical reality in a coercive and oppressive way. And the logocracy of Stalinism is an efficient way of oppressive subjectivation in

that it forces the masses to believe not moral values and truth as such - things being formed and reformed in the historical . reality - but their linguistic substitutions forged by the power. But this kind of efficiency leads to losing not only the efficiency of self-regulatory praxis of the power itself but also the creative forces of the masses. If it is so, how can Marxism overcome the danger of falling into such a materialistic subjectivism of the power? 1 think the only way for it consists in finding possibility to return to the masses their ability to express themselves against the power-knowledge and power-institution, because it is in the

long run, their profound desire to overcome the alienation that will lead us

to a new society where any institutionalized form of power does not exist.
