dc.description.abstract | This article aims to clarify the semantic and syntactic distinction among PA's, i.e., LF, SF and IF in Modem Russian. It particularly focuses on solving the mystery why previous researches on PA's often present confusing and even contradictory results. The article claims that the essential nature of distinction among PA's should be searched in the difference of speaker's position and his/her view on chronotope and that such difference is reflected in distinct syntactic structures. The main reason for the previous confusion may be found in the permissibility of co-existence of two (major and minor) systems for each P A type in Modem Russian. | - |
