There are many factors that can exert influence on the trade policies of a country. Internal factors such as economic and political situations as well as the external environments could both be important in the making of US trad policy. Moreover, U.S. trade policies since the 1990s has begun to take on diverse roads, where the U.S. has adopted the so called multi-track policy, which includes multilateralism unilateralism, bilateralism as well as regionalism, in order to maximize its own benefit.
