- Abstract
- This is a study of the English choice of law rules in torts. At first it
outlines the development of the common law choice of law rules, i.e. the
double actionability rule and the exception to it since 19th century
through the court decisions from the Halley to Boys v Chaplin. And then
the Private International Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1995 is
sketched.
