인터넷 중독 및 관련 심리적요인 탐색을 위한 웹 평가프로그램 개발

Abstract

인터넷 확산에 따른 청소년의 인터넷 중독이 청소년의 심리적(성격, 문제행동, 불안, 우울) 및 환경적(컴퓨터 사용실태, 가정환경 등) 특성과 어떻게 관련되어 나타나는지를 밝혀줄 체제의 필요성에 입각한 본 연구는 청소년 스스로 인터넷 중독 정도를 자가진단 할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 중독관련 요인을 파악할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하여 이를 인터넷 상에 구현하는데 그 목적이 있다. 그럼으로써, 이들을 사전에 파악하여 중독에 빠지지 않도록 예방할 수 있고, 또한 치료에 도움이 되는 정보를 제공할 수 있기 때문이다. 이를 위해 먼저 지필식 예비검사와 본검사 과정을 거친 후, 이를 웹기반 검사로 변환하여 제작하였다. 연구대상은 중․고등학생 2,131명이고, 검사는 인터넷 사용 환경조사, 인터넷중독검사, 간편성격검사, 간편문제행동진단검사, 불안검사, 우울검사로 나누어 총 141개 문항으로 구성되어 있다. 분석결과 신뢰도는 인터넷중독검사 α=.85, 간편성격검사 α=.82, 간편문제행동검사 α=.90, 불안검사 α=.91, 우울검사 α=.90이고, 각 검사간의 상관관계는 -0.42～0.78로 나타났다. 특히 인터넷 중독과 문제행동, 불안, 우울검사는 0.35～0.39로 의미있는 상관관계가 있으며, 성격검사 중 안정성, 자율성, 적극성 하위영역과 인터넷 중독간에도 유의미한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 밝혀져 이를 결과보기에 반영하였다. 시스템 개발환경 OS는 Red Hat Linux 8.0과 Kernal 2.4.20, DB는 MySQL, Web Server는 Apache rpm HTTPD-2.0.40, Language는 PHP와 Java Script가 사용되었다.

The Purpose of this study was to develop an web-based test for searching internet addiction related factors. For this, six paper and pencil type tests that are internet circumstances survey, internet addiction test, short personality test, short behavior diagnosis test, anxiety scale, and depression scale were developed prior to the web-based test. After the reliability and validity of the scales in these tests were examined, the tests were transferred into web-based form. The client programs were developed in form of homepages and the server programs were developed using Red Hat Linux 8.0 and Kernal 2.4.20 for Operating System, MySQL for Data Base, Apache rpm HTTPD-2.0.40 for Web Server, and PHP and Java Script for Language. Interactions of the client-server programs have been tested and implemented on world wide web at http://iaddiction.educyber.org/ enter001.htm. The correlation coefficiencies between internet addiction test and short behavior diagnosis test, anxiety scale, and depression scale range 0.35 ~ 0.39. And the correlation coefficiencies between internet addiction test and subtests of short personality test that are stability, self-control, and activeness also show meaningful relations. This on-line aptitude test has several strong points. First, any respondent can take the test individually at appropriate place at any time. Second, the test results and interpretations are given right after testing. Third, test results are accumulated automatically as data for future analysis. Forth, individual information can be securely protected in on-line test compare to paper-pencil and/or face to face test. The limits of this study are as follows. First, item parameters of the on-line test are using those of paper-pencil type test. It is recommended that the item parameters be replaced after on-line test results are accumulated. Second, computer literacy is necessary for taking this kind of on-line test.
