8ㆍ15와 6ㆍ25를 前後한 北韓出身 避難民의 越南移動에 關한 硏究

Abstract

The division of Korea by foreign powers after the liberation from Japan and the establishment of two governments standing contrary ideology in the North and South, and the follow Korean War caused a large scale refugee movement from North to South.

This study, the close examination of the movement of North Korean refugee to the movement of North Korean refugee to the South during the Liberation Period (1945.8~1950.6) and Korean War Period (1950.6~1953.7) from a geographical point of view, shall give the base to the study on the Period of Division of Korea. The purpose of this study is examining the total number of refugees from North and the volume of them by periods(Chapter 2), analyzing the time sequence of the movement( Chapter 3), reconstructing the refuge routes and the means of taking refuge(Chapter 4), and analyzing the origin and the destination of the refugees and the distinction of their areal distribution in South by refuging periods(Chapter 5). The refugee policy of South Korean Government has been also dealt in Chapter 4 and Chapter 5.
