서울市 中小河川의 景觀變遷에 관한 硏究

Abstract

The river of city has abused because most inexpensively sited for structures and uses of all kinds. The river has lost the diversity of old times and isolated from the life of city people by uniform high-bank construction. Many rivers of Seoul have covered and lost function of the river. In this condition, will be meaning work to investigate formation & meaning existed in the change of ricer land scape as spatial presentation. Then This study investigated the change of river landscape, factor related to change and the change of the social function of ricer. The major findings are summed up into the followings. For the facility of study, river landscape consists of the form(morphology)of river & riverside space. First, the Choson dynasty(A.D 1392 -1910) enforced kennel construction and dredging construction for the purpose of function as water control, but river morphology nearly undergo no change. But modern sewage facilities, that is, culvert were introduced, then spread, and changed river morphology. Second, in the fonn of river, open stream enclosed with modern road repairing & building early in the the rule of Japanese imperialism. Then River on a full scale disappeared on the ground with the start of modern sewerage works in 1918. In 1958, Cheong Gye Cheon enclosed. After this, enclosed stream spread on the whole, many open streams disappeared for the purpose of road extension and environment improvement, that is, maximization of land use. And enclosed stream has utilized urban space facility,

such as road, parking zone etc.
