A Model of Unified Spatial Development in the Korean Peninsula - A Scheme on Reformation of the Korean Peninsula

Abstract

About half a century has been passed since the Korean Peninsula was divided into the two parts: south and north. During the last 48 years, South Korea and North Korea has independently drived national development without any linkage between them by different ideology and thought. Severe confrontation and competition between two regimes hastened individual development and accelerated respective change. This fact became a stimulant of individual growth on one hand. but it made a historical mistake by which a lot of budget was invested to the projects which are not necessary, and heterogeneous or conflicting facilities and culture were created on the other hand. It might require a long time to set the homogeneous identity of a country even though the Korean Peninsula is unified into a country. The require term would be 10 years in facilities, 30 years in systems and 50 years in people's though and consciousness.
