- Abstract
- An accurate ascertainment of drowning has been
one of the most important subjects for study of legal
medicine and many scholars have concentrated their
efforts around this subject. On eonsidering that the
grasping of actual distribution of plankton in the
various organs of a dead body would play an indispen~.
able part in distingui~hjng a drowned body from
a body of nondrowning which h~s been deserted in
the water, the author has conducted a series of experiments
