| dc.description.abstract | 브라질 학계에서 축구가 연구 주제로 자리매김한 것은 21세기 초의 일이다. 이로써 라틴아메리카 전역의 다양한 연구소와 연구팀들에 의해 1980~90년대에 시작된 노력들이 공식적인 인정을 받게 되었다. 공공문화유산으로서의 축구는 사회, 경제, 정치, 문화, 상징생산, 노동과 관련된 연구의 장에서는 물론이고 다양한 학문 분야(사회학, 인류학, 정치과학, 심리학, 경제학, 역사학 등)에서도 중요성을 지닌다. 축구는 프로선수 지망자이든(Pimenta 2006) 팬이든(Toledo 1996; Pimenta 1997) 브라질의 젊은이들을 통합시키는 특징을 지니고 있다. 게다가 축구는 사회역사적 관점에서 볼 때도 중세에서 오늘날의 산업사회에 이르는 과정에서 인류가 경험한 수많은 변화를 설명하는 데 매우 적합하다. | - |
