경제원리의 성격과 발견 : 자연·사회·경제철학 및 인지과학적 접근

Abstract

경제학은 경제원리를 탐구하는 학문이다. 만물의 이치인 원리 중에서도 경제에 관한 원리를 경제현실 속에서 찾는다. 그러나 우리는 평소에 경제원리가 무엇인지, 그 뜻을 잘 모르거나 잘못 알고 있는 경우가 있다. 이 글을 쓰는 이유는 경제원리의 참 뜻 나아가 그 뿌리를 알고, 그것을 찾아내는 길을 모색하는 데 있다. 경제원리(보편언명의 뿌리)를 잘못 알고 있는 가장 큰 이유는, 경제원리를 경제현실 속에서 찾지 않고 경제현실 아닌데서 찾으려하는데 있다. 경제현실을 자연현실과 같은 것으로 생각하고, 찾는 방법도 자연과학적인 방법을 동원한다는 것이다. 자연은 근원적으로 현실=존재론적이어서 거의 절대적인 물리환원적 현대과학기술을 동원하면 천지현황한 우주(cosmos)를 항해하거나 분자수준의 생물체의 구조까지 큰 오차 없이 알아낼 수 있다. 그러나 경제현실은 자연법칙적인 요인도 공존하지만, 인간의 가치, 영감, 오욕(伍慾)이 강하게 작동하면서 서로 연기되고 변전되기 때문에 복잡하며, 자연원리와 다른 나름의 원리가 작동된다. 이 글의 목적은, 경제원리를 찾기 위해 자연법칙적, 물리환원적, 표준 과학적 방법, 즉 몇 개의 단순 가정으로 방정식을 설정한 뒤 임의로 몇 개의 변수를 선택하여 풀이하는 방법을 사용하면 가상(假像)에 빠지게 되고 현실에 없는 인위적인 그림을 그리게 됨을 밝히는 데 있다. 경제원리를 찾는 데 인간학(人間學)을 멀리 하는 한원리와 현실 간의 간극을 도저히 메울 수 없다. Economics is a discipline that aims to discern economic principles from economic facts, but we are not or, sometimes, wrongly aware of these facts. This paper investigates the roots of universal statements, that is, the true meaning of principles as in other academia. The crux of wrong awareness is rooted from the fact that people try to find answers not from economic facts, but from natural facts, which utilizes the methodology of standard natural science based on the theory of molecular reductive consilience. Nature is fundamentally of facts=reality. Therefore, the physical reductive approach is theoretically applicable to the whole cosmos and inside the inner structure of the living body. By contrast, economic facts are composed of nature+human being in which the five basic desires, value judgments, and spirits of human beings are involved. The shape and entity of economic principles are substantially changeable, interactive, indeterminate, and complicated. This paper aims to discover the roots of economic principles by applying the methodology of natural-societal-economic philosophy integrated with cognitive science to dismantle the color spectacles from our eyes. Achieving this goal requires intensive human study. The waters of economic principles flow, resembling the waters of Siloe, lsaiass symbol, that flow in silence, but sometimes in turbulence, bitterness, and contradiction.
