규장각한국학연구원 소장 朝鮮前期 總集類 書籍과 서지학적 가치

Abstract

이 연구는 규장각의 귀중본 조사사업에 도움을 주기 위한 목적으로 진행된 것이다. 규장각의 귀중본도서 조사사업의 취지에 맞추어 서지학적 가치를 인쇄기술사, 서적교류사 라는 두 가지 관점으로 접근하였으며, 조선전기의 간본에 중점을 두고 진행하였다. 이를 위하여 규장각의 소장된 고문헌 중에서 조선전기에 목판이나 활자로 간행된 총집류 서적 27종을 대상으로 삼고 서지학적인 측면에서 귀중본의 가치를 부여할 수 있는 몇 가지 항목을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 규장각의 수많은 고문헌을 대상으로 하는 연구에서 귀중한 가치를 부여하는 여러 유형의 기준이 있겠지만 무엇보다도 큰 전쟁으로 인한 약탈, 소실에도 불구하고 책이 현재까지 살아남은 것에 대한 가치는 가장 우선적으로 부여해야할 것이다. 또한 특정 주제분야별로 종합적인 정리가 이루어지지 않았으므로 본고에서는 우선 총집류를 대상으로 살펴보았다. 이러한 방식은 각 주제 단위로 귀중본을 조사선정하는 것을 지속적으로 진행하기 위한 발판을 마련하고 고문헌의 이력을 확인하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

This study was conducted to aid the project on rare books in Kyujanggak and revolved around documents printed during the earlier period of Chosun Dynasty. Bibliographic value of the books was approached with two view point which are history of printing and books exchange according to purport of the project. Surveyed 27 kinds of Collective Anthologies printed by woodcut and type during the earlier period of Chosun and examined a few items that can add value on rare books in the bibliography. Although there are the different criteria for adding precious value on the research about numerous old documents in Kyujanggak, the worth of the books have survived until now despite of looting and loss due to the big war should be given the highest priority. In the study searched Collective Anthologies first because comprehensive organization by specific subject sector is not done. This approach will be helpful in continuous studying rare books on each topic selection.
