- Abstract
- Backgroud: Muscle atrophy results in severe functional impairment and is a significant clinical problem. The therapeutic effects of autologous adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) using an in vivo muscle atrophy model by denervation in rats were examined and characterized.
Methods: To identify the effect of injected ADSCs into denervated muscle, the following two models of muscle atrophy were developed in rats: induction of denervation by sciatic critical nerve defects
