- Abstract
- This study investigates whether participants' argumentative abilities
in electronic bulletin board discussions are positively associated with
their deliberative discussions. 329 participants were recruited from
three universities in either Daegu and Seoul by convenient sampling.
Data were collected from paper and pencil and online questionnaires
and quasi-experiments. Correlation and regression analyses were used
to test hypotheses. The results shows that discussants' argumentative
abilities were highly associated with their deliberative discussion.
Discussions and suggestions for future research were presented at the
end.
