- Abstract
- ZnO nanocrystals with various shapes were synthesized using a variety of surfactants, including triotylphosphine oxide (TOPO), oleic acid (OA), 1-hexadexylamine (1-HDA), and tetradecylphosphonic acid (TDPA). Room temperature photoluminescence (PL) spectra of the ZnO nanocrystals were also shown. Studies revealed that an ester elimination reaction occurred between zinc acetate and 1,12-dodecanediol.
