Abstract
Battery research has recently concentrated on the high power energy storage for portable electronic devices and vehicles. Herein, we report on simple and inexpensive large-scale synthesis of metal hexacyanoferrate (HCF) nanoparticles as electrode materials for highly stable lithium ion batteries. When nanoparticles of cobalt-HCF and nickel-HCF were employed as anode and cathode materials, highly stable capacities of about 544 and 56 nnA h g(-1) could be achieved at the current density of 100 mA g(-1), respectively.
