Abstract
In this paper we mathematically explain the trajectories of termites in the case that they are attracted to pheromone-like substance, which is, for ex-
ample, a ball-point pen. We videotape and observe the movement of termites lying on a sheet of paper with a circle drawn with the ball-point pen on it.
When termites are initially scattered in the center of a circle, they approach the curve interacting with others. We will suggest the mathematical model and numerical simulation on the phenomena.
