dc.description.abstractGenerally, the operating speed is limited by the maximum output voltage of the voltage source inverter. To expand the operating speed, the capacitors are series connected to the synchronous permanent magnet motor drive system. These capacitors increase the maximum available speed. As a result, the motor can operate at the high-speed region that was previously impossible. To control this system, the current reference generator and current controller are designed based on the results of the plant analysis. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the simulation results.-
