주전자 구성 요소의 형태 연구

Abstract

이 연구는 실용적인 작품의 형태와 기능의 상호작용을 중점적으로 탐구하고, 이를 통해 실용 사물을 구성하는 각 요소의 형태를 발전시키는 것에 목적이 있다. 연구의 주요 내용은 실용 사물의 기능에 따른 형태 연구와 이를 바탕으로 한 작품 제작 연구로 구성되어 있다.

연구 대상으로는 기능에 따라 다양한 디자인을 보여줄 수 있는 주전자를 선정했고, 주전자의 형태적 구성 요소를 기능에 따라 몸체, 물대, 손잡이의 세 가지로 분류하고 각 부분의 특성을 파악했다. 몸체의 연구에서는 다양한 주전자의 목적에 적합한 몸체 기형 연구를, 물대의 연구에서는 역시 다양한 물대의 역할에 적합한 물대 형태 연구를, 손잡이의 연구에서는 몸체와 결합하는 위치에 따른 손잡이의 기능과 몸체로부터의 열 차단 방법 등을 서술했다.

작품 연구로는 한몸주전자와 커피주전자를 중심으로 연구하고 제작해보았다. 한몸주전자 연구는 하나의 판재로 주전자를 만드는 제작 기법의 연구를, 커피주전자 연구는 커피 추출을 위한 기능적 주전자와 도구의 연구를 담고 있으며 주전자를 위시한 작품 제작은 기능을 극대화하는 형태를 지향했다.

이 연구는 주전자 구성 요소의 다양한 기능에 맞는 적절한 형태를 파악하고 제작함으로써 실용적이면서도 형태적으로 우수한 작품을 제작하는 데 도움이 되고자 한다.

This study focuses on the interaction between the form and function of practical objects and aims to develop the form of various elements that makes up these objects. The main contents of the study consist of research on the form based on the function of practical objects, and research on artwork production based on these studies.

As the subject of the research, kettles were selected to showcase various designs based on their functionality. The kettles formative components were classified into three categories: body, spout, and handle, and the characteristics of each part were examined. The study of the body focused on investigating suitable body shapes for various purposes of kettles. The spout research explores spout forms that are suitable for different roles during pouring. As for the handle, the research discusses its functionality concerning its positioning with the body and methods of heat insulation from the body.

As part of the artwork research, the focus was on analyzing and producing 'one-body' kettles and coffee pots. The one-body kettle research involved studying the production techniques for creating kettles using a single metal plate. On the other hand, the coffee pot research focused on studying functional kettles and tools for coffee extraction. The artwork production for kettles aimed to maximize functionality through their form.

This study aims to grasp and produce appropriate forms that match various functions of a kettles components, with the purpose to create practical and aesthetically superior works.
