Cell-oriented adaptive admission control for QoS support in wireless multimedia networks

- Abstract
- A cell-oriented admission control scheme is proposed for keeping the handoff dropping probability below a pre-defined level. The admission threshold is dynamically adjusted based on handoff dropping events in each cell without access to user mobility information.
