dc.description.abstract1. Introduction Physical fitness is one of the most essential vitalities that maintain human life.It effects every sphere of life:physical exercise, study, labor, sports etc. It is physical fitness that the length of life and Health depend on. It also serves as essential basic data on individual maturity. It should detect the physical factors that control individual activities; because its purpose is to improve individual activities and personality. As the physical instructors ought to be well informed of the characteristics of the physical functions of their pupils physiological informations ate pre-requisite to the pursuit of physical Education, Physical education involves studies of the various factor of physiological charateristics and Motor ability. The present thesis is an attempt to provide references for more efficient and desirable physical Education by surveying the influences that those factors have on motor ability. On the basis of correlation between physiological characteristics and motor atility. a com parison of motor ability between the two groups, one superior in physiological characteristics, this thesis intends to discover important differences, for which the following hypothesis are set up. ① Considerable correlation will be found between the development of physiological characteristics and these of motor ability. ② Considerable differences of motor ability will be noticed between the physiologically superior and inferior group group. Ⅱ. Method of Research 1. Measurements of 5 factors of physiological characteristics (the ratio of vital Capacity to bodysurface, pulse-pressure. Havard step index VO₂ max). Plus 12 Motor ability factors of 93-first graders of Sung-Nam. High school in Young deung-P,O. (4.10~7.20, 1975) Were for investigating the correlation between them and comparing the motor ability between the physiologically superior and inferior groups. 2. arrangement of the results. 1) The M (Means) and S.D (Standard deviation) in the physiological characteristics, and Motor ability factors of 93 sampled was calculated. 2) Coefficient of correlation of the above factors was calculated according to the meth od of K pearsons calculation of correlation in each of them. 3) t-test was carried about the result, in the lebel of significance. 4) The comparison of means in the motor ability was carried between the physiologically superior and inferior groups. 5) t-test was carried about the result of comparison in the lebel of significance. Ⅲ. Disscussion. The result of the t-test (in correlation) was significance at the lebel of 0.01, or 0.05 between physiological factors and motor ability hence, the hypothesis ① is true. It is high correlation or considerable at the coefficient of correlation ±0.40~±0.70 t-test of the superior and inferior groups motor. ability in physiological Characteristics, is significant The result of the above is served to prove hypothesis ② Ⅳ. Conclusion. 1) Considerable correlation is found between development of physiological characteristics and motor ability, it is high correlation or considerable at the Coefficient of correlation ±0.40~±0.70 2) Considerable differences of motor ability is noticed between the physiologically superior and inferior group.-
