dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to show that Latin vowel changes are included in the important phenomena of the forward movement which includes the simplification of the word by vowel-dropping.
The Vulgar Latin has been deeply transformed in Gau!. The Gallic population could not understand the delicate variation of the Latin language and thus its vowel system suffered deep transformations. We tried to show the direction of these transformations in the oral cavity
