In this paper, we have discussed there are middle intransitive and middle passive constructions in Korean, which is equivalent to the properties of English middle constructions. Applying the test for English middle constructions to Korean, we observed the following results: first, Korean does have the middle intransitive and middle passive constructions; second, the subjects of the middle constructions are patients, and usually take demonstratives and the. topic marker un/nun; third, those middle constructions imply the existence of generic agents and need the support of facility adverb and CAN; fourth, middle intransitive verbs and middle passive verbs are stative verbs, describing the generic properties of the subjects, and are made out of DO-verb and CAUSE-verb, describing the generic properties of the patient.ko_KR
