This paper aims to discuss some problematic issues on adjective entries in actual Korean dictionaries in order to construct the electronic lexicon of Korean adjectives DECOS-ADJ. We discussed first of all about the items that should be ruled out from the lexicon of adjectives: they are some defective forms, verbs wrongly classified as adjectives in actual dictionaries, complex adjectival phrases, derived forms from some idiomatic and foreign expressions and archaic items we do not encounter any more in mödern Korean texts. In Chapter 3, on the contrary, we considered some items which should be included in the lexicon of adjectives: ³N-idaadjectives and X-jeg-ida adjectives. And some adjectives related to so-called ³onomatopoeiaexpressions are reviewed and revised. We finally presented our electronic lexicon of adjectives DECOS-ADJ which contains about 6,000 items classified into around 150 classes. These classes obtained according to morphological ending forms are crucial for autormatic generation of inflectional forms of Korean Adjectives(i.e. DECOFADJ), which is indispensable for automatic morphological analysis of Korean textsko_KR
