Abstract

I. Krylov is a representative fable writer in Russia. The fabliau of Krylov is the distinguished outcome in the history of Russian fable and keeps its vitality up to now as the object for both children and adults to understand, appreciate and exploit in various aspects. This study attempted to approach the internal motives of satirical fable related to the circumstances under the reign of Aleksandr I(1801-1825), among a number of works of Krylov. The fable has generally two implication systems: the primary implication is personal/temporal by the needs of writers, and the secondary implication is general/timeless generated from the process that the reader or the audience accepts. This study examined the historical background under which Krylov's fable of political satire was created on the basis of the primary implication system(analysis on the inside of writing materials) and why he selected the fable genrdeasiness of genre). The examination approach was the practical analysis on five works.
