Author studied the morphology of shore platforms developed along the southeastern coast Korea with special emphasis on the development process of it. 8 study areas were selected from the coast between Yangsan-gun, Kyongsangnam-do and Yonggil-gun, Kyungsangbuk-do, in which large scale shore platforms are developed. They are Dongbaek-ri (bed rock ; shale and sandstone in Cretaceous; tidal range: 1. Om), Daesong-ri(quartz. andesite in Cretaceous; O. 7m), jujeon-ri(hornfels in Cretaceous; O.4m), Kuryu-ri(andesite in Tertiary; O. 3m). Upchon-ri(Trachyte in Tertiary; O.2m). Dacbon-ri(granite in Cretaceous; O.2m), Kampo-ri(welded tuff in Cretaceous; O.

2m), and Hajon-gri(tuff in Tertiary; D.2m). These areas normally belong to microtidal swell wave environment, but are transformed into microtidal storm wave environment when summer typhoons and winter strong storms occur. The frequency of storm wave of these areas is known highest among the coast of Korea.
