This study is to explore the concept of duality in Generalized Quantifier Theory and apply it to some aspectual adverbs in Korean. Specifically, we argue that a dual relation holds between imi already and acik still in Korean. We attempt to show how the aspectual features of these adverbs are related to those of verbs. Imi is a perfective aspectual adverb, whereas acik is an imperfective one. Adopting Löbner ' s Phase Quantification Theory, we demonstrate that imi is an Existential Quantifier and acik a Universal Quantifier. These adverbs are duals of each other like some and every in Englishko_KR
