Our research on the partical -(i)na is for the purpose of thinking about necessary conditions in order to think again the problem which is linked to this moorpheme. Our main interest consists in installing the argumentative function in the centre of the analytic dispositive. To do this, we used the theories of argumentation and topi¨ defended by Oswald Ducrot and Jean-Claude Anscombre. In addition to these theories, we used streotype theory.
First of all, we limited our observation only to the utterances which seem to be suitable for the argumentative reading without causing major difficulties. According to the imperic observations, these are two types of utterances constructed on -(i)na, to say《non-X + (i)na》and《X + (i)na》. We considered that all these utterances translate a discoursive strategy of which the objective is install negative discoursive space in which opened positive property cannot be inserted. All have to be suitable for the expression of defavorable option and -(i)na element constrains discourse continuaty in the negative sense.
