Abstract
It is a great task that we formulate the philosophical theory of Korean education. However, that problem may be how we achieve this important task. I think the basic problem should be concerned with the relationship between diversity and unity, and the logic of human formation through the harmony of tradition and reform. I would like to propose 'foundationism' as a philosophical theory of education, because historical and contemporary reality demands it greatly.
