Abstract
This paper aims to discuss the implementation of a blended mobile teaching project for a group of cyber university students enrolled in a four-week conversation course. Utilizing the virtual spaces of the countrys biggest mobile messenger Kakao Talk and the web-based video chat service Google+Hangout, this mobile teaching project delivered listening and speaking activities. In this paper we introduce the scope, nature, and results of this project. Principally, this study determined that a blended model has a positive influence on enhancing students English communicative abilities. Moreover, we establish that SNS group-based learning activities increased student satisfaction compared to other types of class. The findings of this project, as discussed in this paper, are suggestive of the potential of an effective and innovative blended mobile teaching project to enhance learning and satisfaction. As such, in light of these findings, we argue that this learning model will have significant pedagogical implications for the future of smart learning.
