The purpose of this paper is to introduce a microworld

designed for mathematical creativity and gifted education.

We have developed a microworld named JavaMAL by

combining WGO and DGS microworlds. Using JavaMAL,

students can make and manipulate semi-dynamic objects

called "tiles" to explore mathematics. We have tested

JavaMAL for creative mathematics program and gifted

education, and we have confirmed that there are positive

educational results from the teaching experiments.
